I just got this phone last week, and I'm still trying to figure it out. My other phone was the original Motorola Razer, which I really liked but it wouldn't hold a charge even with a new battery. I've been perusing these boards trying to find some answers but no luck yet. So far, the phone's o.k.

I too purchased a Shine last week and also find that the battery will not last. It went total dead this afternoon since being charged 4 days ago, I probably made a total of 5 minutes worth of calls during that period. Will be taking it back and hoping they can cure this issue!

I bought an Incite, and for awhile it was a great phone. Lately, however I have been having serious service issues. It loses the 3G service, drops to EDGE, then drops service all together rather randomly. I am not sure if there is an issue with the antenna in this phone or if it is a software/firmware issue. If I cannot find a solution I will just dup the phone and buy something else as I have not been able to get any help from AT&T what so ever.

I don't like the Shine. Too small, mic/earphone don't line up well when talking. AT&T has created a web of applications that you will inevitably end up generating "Data Access" charges because you hit the wrong application. Just another way for the man to make a crooked buck or two. Experience frequent dead spots and call drops on their network. Don't know if it is the phone or AT&T, but you would think in the DFW area cellular reception should be pretty darn good. JC

Hands down, no phone in the US market beats the LG Arena! You want a big screen? It's got a big screen! You want 3D graphics and HD quality video? It's got them both! To bad this babe is not available through regular outlets. Have had mine for a month now and absolutely love it. Opera mini works great on this too!

considering the great customer service agents, that stand behind there products, give you 1/3 of the info you need, and cant get you off the phone fast enough, unless your buying a new phone. i would..and do recommend any LG phone.

I prefer the phone I have because that's the one I know -- and chose after careful research -- and I can't compare with other phones that I don't use.(And I've yet to find a phone or anything else that has the combination of ALL the features I want.) Right now I'm lovin' my new LG Vu Plus! If it had timed silent profile, a better sounding speaker phone, and a .3mm headset jack it would be absolutely perfect for me.

CU515 great phone! I have had mine for 2+ years and only the STAR-TAC might have been tougher. The buttons are large, a great thing for my fat fingers, the size is large enough to hold on to, the screen, though not large, is plenty big enough, but most of all it works. Outside screen can not be read except at night and lately reception and battery lifeseem to be getting poorer(new battery). All in all I love my phone & plan to own another one when thisone dies.

Since I am an old guy (61), all I want is a phone with a phonebook, big numbers for my stubby fingers, and a half a dozen different ring tones, so I know who's trying to get a hold of me! Anybody recommend a better phone for me than the encore 550 GT that I have now?
I really don't need all that extra fancy stuff--- but hey that's just me!
