I successfully downloaded the LG800G (Tracfone) USB driver from "Drivers & Resources", but there is no setup or install application to install it on my computer. If I double click on it, Windows cannot find an application to open it. What do I do with it??!!!
I tried to manually install with LG mobile tool program, but all that popped up was a user's manual .PDF file, which I already have. I did not pull up a driver file.
I would like to connect my phone to my PC. Please help!
Thanks!

You should have downloaded an .exe file which is a program that runs to install everything. This is the file that should have been downloaded: LGUnitedMobileDriver_S4981MAN37AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.7.2.exe
If you are unsuccessful at downloading from LGForum, please try getting the .exe file from LG.com:

Let me know if this helps. -

Hi Brian,
Thanks for the link. I was able to install the drivers from this site. Then I installed the Mobile support tool. I then connected my phone via USB and my computer still doesn’t recognize that my phone is connected. It only charges the battery, but that is it.
I noticed that the Mobile support tool on LG site does not list the LG800G model in the drop down menu (for any carrier brand of 800G), This says it is version 1.5.8.1. Is there another version I can download that will support this model?
I'm stumped! -

Your phone is a feature phone, and as such, doesn't automatically create a drive on your computer for drag and drop operations like would happen on an Android phone. I think the process is a bit different.
