It'a kind of hard finding add on Apps for a "Feature" phone like the 800 and many other small phones. Development efforts seemed to be aimed at the Android and Win Mobile platforms.

What you need is a Java app, (.JAR file) and I don't know of any. Most of the sites that I would normally look on for such an App seemed to all have caved into the "Spam" or "Malware" environments.. Meaning that when you visit there sites, they'll install unwanted advertising, trick you into downloading trash or worse yet, tracking applications, or browser plugin that are hard to get rid of.

If you can't find a QR Reader App on your carriers web site, or know of a reputable site, I wouldn't install one. I've seen installing Apps on to non-smart phone cause more problems than they are worth. I recommend not installing any additional Apps to your phone. Additional Apps can be troublesome, hard or impossible to uninstall, and use up valuable internal memory... Just my opinion.

If you do decide to install one, the App or Web site should have instructions on their site as how to install it. Installation seems to vary by app.

Thanks for the reply. Did manage to get Opera on it, but not happy with the way it works. Clunky to say the least. Was hoping that since the scanner is software for a CAMERA that it would install .. guess not.

When I bought the thing, it was a replacement for the almost impossible to use Motorola from TrakFone. When I bought it, thought it was just a phone/MP3 player/shirt pocket camera and it is beginning to look as though I was right. Still and all, triple minutes for life was attractive and I do not use the phone that often. I still have my PDA/GPS that utilizes Wi-Fi when I really NEED to get on line and I am away from the desktop.
