I am trying to update my LG Phoenix to the Gingerbread update. However, I downloaded bnoth the LG United Mobile Driver and LG Mobile Support Tool. The United Mobile downloaded fine, but the support tools doesn't want to load. I have no idea what to do. I followed the instructions but I feel I am doing it wrong and its not working so something is wrong. Can anyone help me?

- When you downloaded the driver, did you choose the "LGP930.zip" File? This is the set of drivers that you need.
- When installing, make sure to disconnect your phone from your USB Cable
- The Driver install will take a couple of minutes or so to install, so be patient. It should report when it's done.
- Now, plug your phone into the USB Port. You should see the PC configureing the drivers, it will display little messages in the system tray at the bottom of your PC monitor. When it's done, it should report "Installation Successful.
- Now, on the Phoenix itself, you should now see a little USB Icon in the upper left of the disply on the Notification Bar. The Symbol looks like a little pitch fork.
- You can open the Notification Window, if you want, and Select "USB Connected" but DON'T turn on Mass Storage Mode.
- Launch the update utility and give it a few moments, it sometimes takes a little time to detect your phone.
- Once it starts searching the Progress bar at the bottom of the update window will start to fill with green
- When it is done detecting your phone, the Bar should be fully Green, Then model # of the Phone and it's current software version should show up in the upper right of the window, and the "Start Update" Button should be pink... It has to be pink and not white.
- If your phone has a good charge on it, and you can afford to be without the phone for maybe 20 minutes, Click on the Start update button. It should work from there.
