LG Optimus E900 Stuck on 'Connect to computer' screen

Good Morning Guys,

I hope someone out there can help. My son's phone is stuck on a start up screen showing a phone, USB cable and computer picture. We've tried pressing all sorts of combination of buttons to sort it and obviously have attached it to a computer but nothing seems to work. I can switch the phone off and then the LG logo shows before it goes straight back to this screen.

About 2 weeks ago this happened and then somehow it righted itself although when it came back on my son had lost all his contact etc. Then he woke up one morning to find it had gone like this again and .... HELP!!

When connected to the computer no programme opens but it does state 'this device is working properly' - hah!

Any suggestions would be welcome

If the phone is not responding, try pushing the reset button, If you haven't already. I don't have a E900 to work with, but the button, on the US version, is inside the USB's protective cover right next to the USB Connection Port.

If the phone does begin operating again, I would immediately Master Reset the phone to see if the issues are due the OS being damaged in some way.

If the phone refuses operate, I would contact a Service Center in your area.

    I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
