I'm having issues with my LG Thrill, firmware version v10e, randomly rebooting and black screening. Since this happens randomly it is sometimes hours before I notice that the phone has locked up and I am missing important (work) calls, email, and texts.
My Bluetooth has stopped working all together. I attempt to enable it and it shuts back off after about 10 seconds.
Battery life is also horrible... about half what it was when I first got the phone.
I'm wanting to wait for the next software update, but not if it is a long way off still. Any updates on this? So far the 3D is awesome, but just about every other aspect of the phone has been a disappointment.
Any suggestions or news on an update?
Thanks

Short battery life? Have you tried fully discharging the battery and then charging it over night? Is the phone over heating? I mean getting hot to the touch, not just warm, which is normal.

I would backup the phone and try a Master Reset... If a Master Reset doesn't help, then I think the short battery life, Bluetooth, combined with the Black Screen and Freezing are issues that you might want to have AT&T or LG look at...There is an update planned, unfortunately it will probably be late next month (December) before we see it... I believe it should address some of the issues you are seeing. I'll let you know when I have any additional information.

I have two LG Thrill model number LGP 925. Neither one will connect bluetooth. Both say paired but when you are able to connect it looses connection immediately. One phone I have had since Jan, the other I picked up yesterday. What gives? I do not have the connectivity problem with my blackberry for work. When are they going to fix the bluetooth connectivity issue that appears to be pretty rampant in this phone?

You've tried three different Plantronic headsets? I'll report this to development and see what they can do.

Can you check to make sure the Thrill is set to "Trusted" Mode for the devices you are having problems with? Below are three Screen Shots showing how you would check to see if the Devices are in Trusted Mode on the Thrill

- The for shot shows the initial Bluetooth Screen
- The next one shows what happens when you Press and Hold on a Bluetooth device. You should see another menu. Choose Options
- The Last Screen shows several options.... Make sure the Trusted Box is checked. If not check the box and see if it changes the behavior....

Resolution for Bluetooth connection issues with the LG Thrill. Got to settings/Applications/Development and check USB debuggin, Stay Awake and Allow mock locations. Reboot the phone and make your bluetooth connections. It has worked for me and my wife's phone.

My Thrill crashes ramdomly as well. I see it more often when it is charging. In fact, it is pretty much a guarantee that when I charge my phone, it will crash/lock up and I will have to hold the power button for quite a while until the phone starts up again or I have to pull the battery and power the phone back on. I am upset I wasted my upgrade on this phone. It was suppose to be such an amazing phone but I havent seen that yet. I need this to be fixed.
